I work with Bible translation in a Muslim people group. It wasn't until we put the language into their script (Arabic script) but kept it in their mother tongue that 100s started coming to Christ! The few believers were against this idea as it "smelled of Islam." But, now that several villages have decided together to follow Christ, with the Mullahs as the heads of the community -- they see differently. Now they are all scrambling to learn Arabic script better to catch up with these Biblica movement. We still have to trust the Holy Spirit in new ways as they will not listen to any local denomination or misssion. Putting the Gospel in their 'heart script' as well as their 'heart language' has emerged as my main thrust now. Grace on you wonderful pages! Hey, this is a great article.
